The responsibilities of the Consulting Sales Engineer are the following:
· Contacts assigned customer accounts or prospect to sell, promote & specify clients’ product solutions, within a designated geographic territory or by nature of customers
· Developing deep technical knowledge over a specific product category, in order to provide solutions and support his customer base and deploy promotional and training activities with regards to the specific product
· Focus on personal sales targets, new business development, building/maintaining customer relationships, and closely liaising with other company departments to ensure customer expectations & satisfaction are met
· Establishes strong client relationships over time and represents the company brand in relevant organizations
· Active acquisition of new customers, establishment of new customers groups and markets, negotiation of contracts and building long-term relationships
· Development and maintenance of customer base by strengthening, supporting and evaluating existing cooperations (skills, needs, etc)
· Identify the customer’s needs and promote the most appropriate solutions, which results into specified projects
· Analyzing target markets and competition info and estimating new opportunities
· Support product selection & specification, appropriate solution and best practice to win projects and promote clients’ technologies and innovative products
· Drive technical discussions and deliver the very best solutions
· Representing the company and the products at shows and trade fairs
· Providing on-site training, product & commercial presentations for market partners
· Forecast sales, develop sales strategies/models and give input in individual sales budget
The ideal candidate for the role of the Consulting Sales Engineer should have the following:
· University Engineering degree
· 3 to 5 years of experience in sales (preferably consulting sales in HVAC or Electro-Mechanical)
· Prior experience in the HVAC industry will be considered an asset
· Customer oriented profile
· Team player; stimulated by new challenges
· Willing to travel (within Greece and occasionally abroad)
· PC Literate
· English (written & spoken)
